1. WHY SHOULD I JOIN?
Involvement makes our communities stronger, and inclusiveness matters.
Majority of our accomplishments will come from members being involved and working together to build inclusive communities.
Our members can choose their organization, level of participation, and how they want to be involved in their community.
2. WHERE DO MY DUES GO?
100% of all membership dues go into the organization share of the investment pool. Their share of the investment pool makes up the organization’s endowment.
This share allows members to serve their community in perpetuity with permanent resources.
3. WHAT DO I GET FOR BEING A MEMBER?
Yes, membership is more than worth the dues. The main thing you get for your dues is a vote in decisions that directly affect your community. Having a voice in how to support your neighbors, and community is how you can make a direct difference.
Also, by being a member you can put forth ideas to add additional member benefits.
4. WHAT ARE MY DUTIES?
Your level of involvement in the organization you become a member of is entirely up to you, and the other members or that organization.
Some members may simply want updates, to share an idea, to volunteer, or to attend an event. While others may want to get involved with the giving aspect of the organization and make strategic decisions.
My goal as the founder of these organizations is to give decision making directly to the community. My hope is that this will eliminate unnecessary gate keeping, and discrimination in grant making.
